We sell genuine Casio watches, modified by hand, of predetermined design (not made-to-order/bespoke builds). Because these are hand-made modifications, there will be times when we're out of stock — if you'd like to be notified as soon as we're back, leave your email and we'll let you know.
Because this is handcrafted work, the watch you receive may show small variations from the photos on the product page (for example, in finish or the exact placement of an element). These are part of the handmade character of the product and aren't considered a defect.
During the customization process we handle the watch just long enough to apply the mod — we never wear it or use it beyond that. This may leave a small handling mark; it isn't considered a defect or a valid reason for return, unless it's clearly excessive (for example, large scratches or other signs of wear beyond normal handling for the process), which we'll assess on a case-by-case basis.
There are two dial finishes: decal or hand-painted. The editions in our shop are made with a decal; the watches in the “Hand-painted” section are painted by hand; and on a custom design, the hand-painted finish can only be bought after we have reviewed it and confirmed it can be done. The finish changes the price and the lead time, both shown before you buy.
Decal finish. Designs use decals/vinyls applied to the dial. Under normal use these shouldn't cause any issues, but very prolonged, repeated direct sunlight exposure could, in extreme cases, fade their color or cause them to lift. Garage Watches isn't responsible for this kind of wear if it occurs after purchase for this reason.
Hand-painted finish. The dial is painted by hand, one at a time. Every piece is therefore unique, and small differences between your watch and the photos — brushwork, colour density, the edges of the artwork — are part of the finish and are not considered a defect. This finish costs more and takes longer to prepare than the decal; both are shown before you buy.
On Design yours you choose the image on the dial. By uploading it you confirm you have the right to use it and you authorise us to reproduce it on your watch. We store the image and the framing you choose when you add the watch to the cart, download the preview or send it to us for a hand-painting review, so we can build your order and improve the customiser. If you send it for review, we also store your name and the WhatsApp number or email you give us, only to send you our answer. We do not publish it or pass it on to third parties, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
We reserve the right to reject a design — for insufficient resolution, for illegal or offensive content, or for being material protected by someone else's rights — and in that case we refund you in full.
Custom watches are made specifically to your design, so they are not covered by the 14-day right of withdrawal (art. 103.c of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007). The legal warranty against manufacturing defects still applies.
Prices are shown in euros and include VAT. We accept card payment via Stripe.
We ship to mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and the rest of the European Union; we don't currently ship to the Canary Islands. Processing time: 1 day before shipment (4 days for hand-painted watches). See shipping rates and timelines.
For our catalogue editions, since they are predetermined designs (not personalized to your specifications), EU consumer law gives you 14 calendar days from delivery to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason. You can examine the watch the way you would in a physical shop; if it shows signs of use beyond that, we may deduct the corresponding loss of value from your refund. Unless it's defective, return shipping costs are your responsibility; if the withdrawal is valid, we'll also refund the original shipping cost you paid. Modifying the watch voids the original manufacturer's (Casio) warranty. This doesn't affect your rights as a consumer: the product sold by Garage Watches carries the legal warranty against lack of conformity provided under applicable consumer law.
